A downloadable tool

Hello fellow spreadsheet enthusiasts and FFXIV raiders! Over the past few tiers I've been building a gear tracker for my static - and now I'm releasing it for everyone!

Introducing TANGOS: Track All Nine Gearsets Of the Static!

Key Features:

  • Fully customizable 8 or 9-person roster with support for alt jobs. All gear, upgrades, tomestones, etc. are tracked.
  • Loot recommendation system based upon role priorities and how much that piece would provide.
  • All data (including jobs) is sourced from a configuration page, allowing this sheet to be reused for future tiers and expansions. Just update three values and the list of food and you're good to go!
  • Consumable summary to make your omnicrafters happy.
  • Multiple versions to support teams of 8 or 9 both with and without alts. No editing needed!

If you have any features you’d like to see added or encounter any bugs, let me know in the comments below! Feel free to use, edit, update, and redistribute this sheet. Cheers!

I just found this spreadsheet have been setting it up for my static. Thank you by the way, it looks so much better than what I was doing before. I did have a couple questions though.

Is the loot tracker tab does anything other than to check a box that someone got loot but not to keep track of what they got?

Is the books tracking on the main tab just to manually update? I figured this might pull from somewhere else to keep track of total amount of books.

If the loot tracker tab is just to track that someone got something, a suggestion I have might be to have it be to keep track of who got a clear, if they got anything, and if so, what they got. This could also update the books numbers by adding up all the cells for clears. I was planning no playing around with it later today and maybe add some other things specific for my static so they can have all references to loot, logs, and strats used in one place.

Thanks again for putting this together. It gives me a great starting point

Hey! Saw your DM on Reddit and responded to you there, but posting a brief reply here too for anyone else who visits the page.

The loot tracker page is mostly used for statics with 9 people or alts. If you're an 8-no-alt group it probably has minimal use, tbh. For the books, they currently do require manual updating. While I could set them equal to clear count, that would not let people decrement them when spending books.

Having thought about it, I've got some ideas for a more expansive gear/book tracking system, but that won't be ready in time for the tier tomorrow, unfortunately.

Thanks for your feedback - and glad you found the sheet useful! Good luck on the tier!
